Opening times
From Tuesday to Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. from October to May, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. from June to September. Open on public holidays, including Easter Monday and Whit Monday. Closed on December 25th and January 1st.
The museum can be opened by special request for groups of ten and more on payment of a supplement of CHF 50.-

Ticket prices
Adults:  CHF 10.-; CHF 8.- per person for groups of 20 and more.
Senior citizens, students, apprentices, unemployed: CHF 8.-; CHF 6.- per person for groups of 20 and more.
Children over 6: CHF 6.-; CHF 4.- per child for groups of 20 and more.
Also available: combined tickets for the Maison d’Ailleurs.

Guided Visits
Guided visit booked at least a week in advance: CHF 110.-

Audioguides
Visit the Castle and Museum of Yverdon with an iPod
The audioguide guides visitors through a journey down the ages, where they can learn all about the mediaeval castle and the history of Yverdon and its region over 6,000 years.
Cost of hire: free; a passport or similar must be left as deposit.

How to find us
The Museum of Yverdon and its Region is housed in the castle at the heart of the old centre of Yverdon-les-Bains, 5 minutes from the railway station.
