Opening hours
In August and September: Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Monday September 21, Federal Fast Monday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
From October: Wednesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

COVID-19 INFO
A one-way route is set up with access to the museum through the main door and a single exit through the cellars.
For security reasons the following rooms are temporarily closed: 1st floor - Bernese rooms; 2nd floor - dungeon, Elie Bertrand room.

Ticket prices

Individual visitors

  • Adults:  CHF 10.- 
  • Senior citizens, students, apprentices, unemployed: CHF 8.-
  • Children over 6: CHF 6.-
  • Also available: combined tickets for the Maison d’Ailleurs.

Groups (20 people or more)

  • Adults:  CHF 8.-
  • Senior citizens, students, apprentices, unemployed: CHF 6.-
  • Children over 6: CHF 4.-
  • 1 accompanying adult free

Audioguides
Visit the Castle and Museum of Yverdon with an iPod
The audioguide guides visitors through a journey down the ages, where they can learn all about the mediaeval castle and the history of Yverdon and its region over 6,000 years.
Cost of hire: free; a passport or similar must be left as deposit.
